Any New England fan will tell you that the wait for Tom Brady to finally get back on the field has been grueling. Last year, the Pat's enjoyed knowing they were up against an extremely easy lineup (the easiest schedule in the NFL). It wasn't too far fetched to think they can pull of another undefeated season victory.
Until the tragedy happened; Let's not jinx it and go into detail but, of course, you know Brady suffered a knee injury that left him in recovery mode for the past year yadi-yadi-yada. The question is, will he be at 100% come Monday night?
Most thought he would skip two seasons with some initial reports claiming the recovery was slow. While I expected he would be back in 2009. I find myself wondering if his knee is fully recovered.
During the pre-season, Tom took some serious hits. I gotta admit however watching him get driven into the ground those few times had me cringing.
My feelings aside, reading some of the ESPN reports and watching the broadcasts show a Tom Brady ready to play and get out on the field. He's known for being optimistic at even the most trying of times. So his anxiousness shouldn't surprise anyone. What do you guys think? Will we see Brady tear it up against the Buffalo Bills? Cheers to a good show.
